Why the "Forward Arm"?
The forward arm eliminates "dipping" or dropping the hands and shoulder to lift the ball with a "looping" type swing. If you "dip with the Advanced Skills Tee, you hit the back of the arm. It forces you to take the hands straight to the ball, leveling the swing at the point of contact. It also puts the ball off the plate and gives a visual aid in which direction to drive the ball, depending on the pitch location.

What is the Purpose of the "Outside Barrier"?
The flexible outside barrier actually has two purposes. It provides instant feedback to eliminate "casting" when placed alongside the AST. This helps to build a more compact swing, keeping the hands inside the ball. Placed to the rear of the AST, the barrier forces the hitter to take the hands directly down to the ball, eliminating even a level swing plane. Molded from rugged polyurethane to stand up to a college and high school bat speeds and team practices. Unique brush cup ball holder has a 4+ year's track recrod of durability!
